Solid platform, minor glitches

I've been using Scenario for a couple of weeks now, mainly for its ControlNet Workflows and Video Generation. The quality of the video outputs is quite good for quick prototypes, and ControlNet really helps maintain style consistency. The interface is generally clean and easy to navigate. However, I did experience a few instances where the Live Painting feature would freeze briefly, requiring a refresh. It wasn't constant, but noticeable. Delivery of results was always on time though. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the freezing issue, suggesting a browser cache clear. Overall, it's a very capable tool, just needs a bit more polish in some areas.

Absolutely amazing workflow!

This platform is incredible! I've been using the Creative Workbench and the Workflow Automation for my game concept art, and it's changed everything. The Asset Management is so easy to use, and the Style Consistency Tools are a lifesaver. I created so many variations with Batch Generation, it was super fast. I'm definitely going to keep using this for all my projects. You have to try it!

Great tools, good support

I signed up for the Pro plan a month ago to try out the Custom Model Training and Image Generation features for a small indie game project. The onboarding was pretty straightforward. I had a few questions about optimal settings for LoRA Training, and I used their in-app support chat; they responded within a couple of hours, which was good. The models I trained performed well, generating consistent assets. I also used the Canvas Editor quite a bit, it's pretty intuitive. The only minor hiccup was that some batch generation tasks took longer than expected during peak hours, but it always completed. Overall, a solid platform for game asset creation.

Good for quick images

Used it for Image-to-Image. It was fast. Results were decent. Easy to use. I'd use it again for small tasks. No complaints.

Reliable for game assets

This isn't my first time using Scenario; I've been a subscriber for about six months now. I initially signed up for the Image Generation and LoRA Training, and I keep coming back because it's just so reliable. This last order was for a bunch of Skybox Generation and Inpainting work. The quality was consistent with my previous experiences, which is really important for my workflow. I appreciate that I know what to expect every time. It just works.

Annual plan saved money

I needed a tool for generating some environment textures and character variations. I compared a few options and saw that Scenario offered a discount for annual billing, which was a big plus. It made the Pro plan much more affordable. I also got some free trial credits that let me test out the 3D Texture Generation before committing. It felt like a good value for the features I got. Worth the investment for my project.

Thinking of trying out Scenario for some game textures. Is it really better than Midjourney for stuff like that? Or is it kinda the same?

R Rosa 1 month ago
From what I've seen, Scenario is definitely more geared towards game dev assets. Midjourney is great for general art but Scenario's models are trained for game stuff, so they're usually more usable directly.

Depends on what you're doing. For actual game textures and consistent styles across assets, Scenario wins out easily. Midjourney is more for 'pretty pictures' imo.

Does Scenario offer any kind of student discount? I'm trying to learn game dev but funds are tight.

C Carly 2 months ago
I heard they do have something for students, or at least they did. Might be worth checking their site or support to confirm.

Pretty sure I saw something about a student program. It's not always obvious but they usually have options for that kinda thing.

Hey, wondering about the annual plans for Scenario. Do they actually save you a good chunk compared to paying monthly?

M Megan S. 2 months ago
Yeah, for sure. I think it's like 20% off if you go annual. Makes a pretty big difference if you're using it a lot.

Can confirm, I switched last year and it's a decent saving. Plus, you don't have to worry about it every month.

What happens to all your custom trained models if you stop paying for a subscription? Do they just poof?

R Rachel L. 2 months ago
Nah, they don't just disappear. I think they keep them around for a bit, but you can't access or use them until you resubscribe. Not sure on the exact timeframe though.

L Lisa Whitfield 2 months ago
AFAIK, your models are stored. You just can't generate with them or train new ones until you're active again. They don't just delete all your work.

How easy is it to actually cancel a subscription if I decide it's not for me? No hidden hoops to jump through?

N Nina W. 2 months ago
Super easy. Just go into your account settings and there's usually a clear 'cancel subscription' button. No crazy forms or calls needed.

Pretty straightforward. I canceled once when I wasn't using it much and it was just a few clicks. No drama.
